Aeration Phase
In the first chamber, the wastewater is aerated, initiating biological treatment by microorganisms and the degradation of organic matter.
Settling Phase
After aeration, the oxygen supply stops, the activated sludge settles and clear water forms in the upper area.
Discharge Phase
The treated clear water from the upper area is now pumped out of the system.
