AQUATO® STABI-CUP
How Does the STABI-CUP Work?
The new STABI-CUP treatment system operates on a simple 24-hour cycle using the SSB®-M process in single-chamber tanks and requires no primary treatment. This makes it ideally suited for converting existing wastewater collection pits into wastewater treatment plants, avoiding the high running costs of regular emptying. The daily treatment cycle can be started at an individually selected time, allowing it to be optimally adapted to user habits.
Aeration Phase: Air is first introduced, allowing the natural treatment processes to take place. This produces activated sludge.
Settling Phase: The activated sludge settles to the bottom of the tank. A clear water supernatant forms in the upper zone.
Discharge Phase: The treated water is pumped into the outlet. The SSB®-M cycle then begins again.
Only aerobically stabilized sludge is produced, requiring almost no disposal. This results in considerable cost savings for you.

What is special about the SSB®-M process of the STABI-CUP?
The STABI-CUP operates on the SSB®-M process in a single tank without a dividing wall. The treatment process follows a simple 24-hour cycle. The settling and pump-out phase takes place once a day at an individually selectable start time.
Is the STABI-CUP suitable for retrofitting existing wastewater collection pits?
Yes – this is one of its main advantages. The technology kit was specifically developed for retrofitting existing wastewater collection pits and enables conversion into a small sewage treatment plant without installing a dividing wall.
Is the STABI-CUP already available as a complete plant?
The complete plant in the BM-03 concrete tank will be available from Q4 2026. Approval for the retrofit kit is currently in preparation.
