Our ORKA plant is a sewage treatment plant suitable for the biological treatment of domestic and industrial wastewater. Wastewater treatment takes place in multi-chamber containers depending on your desired treatment process.

How Does the ORKA Work?

The ORKA uses the SSB® process. This system developed by us is a single-stage aeration plant with integrated sludge stabilization. The processes are temporally separated (intermittent operation) and take place in a regular cycle specified by the control system.

Aeration Phase: In the first chamber, the raw wastewater is pre-clarified. At the same time, air is blown in so that the natural treatment processes can start.

Settling Phase: The activated sludge sinks to the bottom of the chamber. A clear water zone forms in the upper area.

Discharge Phase: The treated water from the clear water zone is conveyed to the discharge. Subsequently, the excess sludge is returned to the first chamber and the SSB® cycle begins again.

Only aerobically stabilized sludge is produced, which hardly needs to be disposed of. This saves you considerable costs.
